National Events:
Beauty
Beauty competition will be in a pageant style dress (it may be long or
short). Wear what looks best on the contestant. The stage will be set
up in a traditional back T formation. We are looking for contestants
who enjoy being on the stage! A beautiful face, clothes that fit well,
and a wonderful personality. Age appropriate attire is important.
Judging criteria will be as follows: Facial Beauty, Personality, and
Stage Presence (0-2 personality, 3 personality or modeling, 4 & up
modeling ability) and Overall Impression. 1 ½ minute time limit.
Optional Modeling Events (Highest
Score will be used for Supreme Titles)
DIAMONDS & PEARLS WEAR: *Special Event on Stage 1* This is an anything goes event.
Use your imagination and show your interpretation of Diamonds and
Pearls wear. There is no right/wrong. Be creative and have fun with
this event. May be costume, casual wear, sportswear, western wear,
etc. Props are allowed. You may supply your own music or we will
supply “Diamonds are a Girls best Friend”. BE CREATIVE!! Attire can be
anything! There are NO restrictions. Judging criteria will be as
follows: Stage Presence, Personality, Creativity/Originality, and
Overall Impression. This event can be Pro-Am or casual wear modeling.
2 minute time limit.
Christmas WEAR: *Special Event on Stage 2* This is an anything goes event.
Use your imagination and show your interpretation of Christmas wear. There is no right/wrong. Be creative and have fun with
this event. May be costume, casual wear, sportswear, western wear,
etc. Props are allowed. You may supply your own music or we will
supply Seasonal. BE CREATIVE!! Attire can be
anything! There are NO restrictions. Judging criteria will be as
follows: Stage Presence, Personality, Creativity/Originality, and
Overall Impression. This event can be Pro-Am or casual wear modeling.
2 minute time limit.
ANYTHING GOES:
Attire is your choice: Swimwear, Casual wear, Sportswear, Western
wear, etc. Modeling style is also your choice: Pro-am or Casual. A
selection of songs will be available for you to choose from for your
event, or you may bring your own. Judging criteria will be as follows:
Stage Presence, Personality, Attire, and Overall Impression. 2 minute
time limit.
Photo Events (Highest Score will be
used for Supreme Titles)
Bring all photos to registration clearly marked with contestant’s name
and age division. Please have single photos in a plastic sleeve to
protect the picture and portfolios in a secure binder. All will be
returned at the close of the pageant. You may enter extra pictures for
$15 each. (The photo each judge chooses to judge will be noted with a
color dot on the back.)
COLOR PHOTOGENIC: Judges will be looking for a color
head shot, 8 x 10 or 8 ½ x 11. This event will be judged on Overall
Impression, Clarity, Facial Beauty, and Personality.
BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGENIC: Judges will be looking for a
black and white head shot, 8 x 10 or 8 ½ x 11. This event will be
judged on Overall Impression, Clarity, Facial Beauty, and Personality.
NATURAL PHOTOGENIC: Judges will be looking for a
Natural head shot, 8 x 10 or 8 ½ x 11. Age appropriate makeup only, no retouching. This event will be
judged on Overall Impression, Clarity, Facial Beauty, and Personality.
COMPOSITE: A composite is a collection of your favorite
head shot photos and portfolio photos. Judges will be looking for
variety! Judging for this event will include Overall Impression,
Quality, Variety and Personality.
PRINT MODEL: This should be a photo that you would find in a portfolio. Can be indoor or outdoor, full length, 3/4 length, or close up. Judging for this event will be Overall Impressions, Clarity, Personality, and creativity.
PORTFOLIO: Your Portfolio should be a collection of your best
photos. Both headshots and ½ to full-length shots. Both inside and
outside photos. Variety is important. You may have up to 15 photos.
All photos must be in individual photo sleeves assembled in a binder.
Judging for this event will include Overall Impression, Quality,
Variety and Personality.

National Awards Package: Beautiful Custom Rhinestone Crown. Rhinestone lined Satin monogrammed Banner with Banner Pin, National Gifts with Christmas stocking, and Awards package when you return to complete your reign and give up your title.
 Ultimate Grand Supreme
Ultimate Grand Supreme Queen will be awarded to the one contestant that has the highest total score in beauty, 1 photo event, and 1 modeling event. Winners will receive $2,500 CASH, 6 Foot stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package which will include a beautiful full bucket crown.

Up
Grand Supreme Queens will be awarded to those who have the next highest total score in beauty, 1 photo event, and 1 modeling event. Winners will receive $1,500 CASH, 5 Foot stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package which will include a beautiful full bucket crown.
Novice Grand Supremes 0-3, 4-9, 10 &
Up
This title will be awarded to the contestants that have never won more than $500 at one time for one title (not including photo contest). Novice Grand Supreme Queens will be awarded to those who have the next highest total score in beauty, 1 photo event, and 1 modeling event. Winners will receive $1,500 CASH, 5 Foot stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package which will include a beautiful full bucket crown.
Ultimate Beauty Supremes 0-3,
4-9, 10 & Up
Ultimate Beauty Supremes will be awarded to those who have the highest scores in the beauty event. Winners will receive $750 Cash, 5 Foot stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package which will include a beautiful full bucket crown.
Mini Supremes 0-3, 4-9, 10 & Up
This title will be awarded to the next highest combined scores from beauty, 1 photo event, and 1 modeling event. Winners will receive $500 CASH, 5 Foot stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package which will include a beautiful bucket crown.
Baby Supreme 0-2
Baby Supreme Queen will be awarded to the contestant who has the highest total score in beauty, 1 photo event, and 1 modeling event in the 0-2 age group. Winners will receive $500 Cash, 4 Foot stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package which will include a beautiful full bucket crown.
Baby Mini Supreme 0-2
Baby Mini Supreme Queen will be awarded to the contestant who has the next highest total score in beauty, 1 photo event, and 1 modeling event in the 0-2 age group. Winners will receive $375 CASH, 4 Foot stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package which will include a beautiful full bucket crown.
Diamond Doll Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest combined scores in Beauty and Diamonds & Pearls Wear. Winners will receive a $250 CASH, stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package.
Christmas Doll Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest combined scores in Beauty and Christmas Wear. Winners will receive a $250 CASH, stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package.
Dazzling Doll Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest combined scores in Beauty and Anything Goes. Winners will receive a $250 CASH, stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package.
Beauty/Photo Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest combined scores in Beauty and 1 photo event. Winners will receive a $250 CASH, stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package.
Beauty Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This award will be awarded to the contestants with the highest facial beauty score during the beauty competition. Winners will receive a $250 CASH, stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package.
Supermodel Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest combined scores in 2 modeling events (not Beauty Event). Winners will receive a $250 CASH, stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package.
Personality Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest personality scores in 2 modeling events (not Beauty Event). Winners will receive a $250 CASH, stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package.
Photo Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest combined scores in 2 photo events. Winners will receive a $250 CASH, stocking full of gifts and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package.
13 Divisional Grand Supreme Queens
There will be a Divisional Supreme Queen crowned in each age group.
This will be the contestant with the highest score in Beauty, 1 photo
event, and 1 modeling event. Winners will receive $150 Cash
and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package.
13 Divisional Supreme Queens
There will be a Divisional Supreme Queen crowned in each age group.
This will be the contestant with the highest score in Beauty, 1 photo
event, and 1 modeling event. Winners will receive $100 Cash
and a Diamond and Pearls National Awards Package.
Side Awards: The
following awards will be awarded in each age group. Everyone is
automatically entered in these awards if you enter the event. Winners
will receive a trip to the Diamonds and Pearls Store to pick out there own gifts!
Diamonds & Pearls Wear, Christmas Wear, Anything Goes, Color Photogenic, Composite
Black & White Photogenic, Portfolio, and Natural Photo, Print Model
Judged during Beauty: Personality, Most Beautiful, Prettiest Eyes,
Best Smile, Best Hair, and Dazzling Doll (the contestant who the
judges feel has that extra sparkle!)
Program Book:
Each contestant must submit a wallet size photo along with your
registration form, entry form, and deposit. (Pictures can be emailed
in .jpg format to:
diamondsandpearlspageantry@yahoo.com. Please include your name.
Each contestant will be
featured in our National Program Book. Judges will be using our
program book as a reference tool. Your picture must be included.
Deadline for pictures is October 24th.

Contestants may choose to have
businesses or family members sponsor them by advertising in our
program book. 75% of everything sold will be credited towards your
fees. WOW!! THAT IS 75% OF ALL YOUR AD SALES WILL GO TOWARDS YOUR
ENTRY FEE! All ads must be ready to print and may include your
photo. Make checks payable to: Diamonds & Pearls. Ads and checks must
be received by Nov 1st. Full page ad: $100; half page ad: $50;
Business Card: $15 (in other words, sell full page and receive $75 off
your fees, sell half page and receive $37.50 off your fees; sell a
business card size ad and receive $11.25 off your fees). We will have
an overall ad sales queen who will be named our Diamonds & Pearls
Sweetheart and will receive a D&P National Awards Package. (Must sell
10 full pages minimum for title to be awarded)
Cover Girl:
Submit your headshot photo by either email or mail by October 15th.
$40 for first photo and $15 for each additional photo. Winner will be
featured on the front of this year’s state program book and will
receive a Diamonds & Pearls National Awards Package. This title can be
double crowned. Winner is eligible for all other awards. Our 1st
Runner Up will be featured on our inside cover and will receive a
beautiful crown, banner, and national prizes. Judging for this event
will include Overall Impression, Clarity, Facial Beauty, and
Expression.
Print Model Queen:
We will select one Print Model Queen. This will be a portfolio type
picture and will be featured in the center of our program book. Please
submit your portfolio photo by either email or mail by October 15th. $40
for first photo and $15 for each additional photo. Winner will receive
a Diamonds & Pearls National Award Package. Our 1st Runner Up will be
featured on our inside back cover and will receive a beautiful crown,
banner, & national prizes. This title can be double crowned. Winner is
eligible for all other awards. Judging for this event will include
Overall Impression, Quality, and Expression.

Everyone must be
pre-registered. NO DOOR ENTRIES WITHOUT LATE FEES. This also helps us make sure
there are plenty of gifts to go around. |

Age groups are never
combined. If an age group reaches a large number of contestants,
we will consider splitting. No guarantees. |
|
Pageant normally runs
on time. Please cooperate with us to help make the pageant run
smoothly. A final schedule will be given out at registration.
Please be on time for each event. If you are not in line when your
name is called, you will have to compete at the end of the group.
However, no points will be deducted. We will never start an event
early unless everyone is lined up. If we are running behind, we
will post an updated schedule at the door. We will try our best to
stay on schedule but will keep you aware of any delays so you can
plan accordingly. |

There is a time limit
of 1 ½ minutes for beauty and 2 minutes for all other modeling
events. When your time is up, the contestant will be thanked and
should exit the stage. There will be NO DEDUCTIONS if the
contestant has not finished their routine. |
|
Contestants 2 years
old and under must be accompanied by an adult during line-up. No
exceptions. |
|
No cameras of any kind
will be allowed in the ballroom. A professional photographer and
videographer will be on hand for stage shots and videos. All
Queens will be required to stay after crowning for group and
individual pictures for next year’s promotional materials. |
|
You may use one discount/package price plus an Early Bird Discount for the pageant, Unless the package is stated to include the earlybird discount. Discounts are given throughout the year from photo contests, sibling discounts and guestbook drawings. You may use the highest discount earned throughout the year. Diamonds and Pearls does offer a sibling discount. Pay the first child's supreme entry/package in full and siblings may enter the supreme entry/package for 1/2 price. Discounts are not transferable from one contestant to anther. To use your discount, you deposit, emcee sheet and registration form must be in our office by October 24, 2008.
